To Commemorate Human Rights Day The Tim Spann Memorial Fund Presents

an Evening with: Human rights lawyer Bryan Stevenson in his TED Talk and on YouTube with Lester Holt

Bryan Stevenson has dedicated his life to ending the death penalty and providing legal representation to individuals who have been wrongfully convicted, unfairly sentenced, or subjected to prison abuse. In 1989, he established the Equal Justice Initiative and, in 2018, he and the EHI opened the doors to the Legacy Museum and the National Lynching Memorial. A movie about his life, “Just Mercy,” will open on Christmas Day.

This event is sponsored by the International Museum of Human Rights at San Diego, UNA SanDiego, Amnesty International Group 137 and the Anne Hoiberg Women’s Center for Education at the Women’s Museum of California.
